During lunch each year at our journalism unconference, we feature a discussion with a leader in news, media and journalism. This year, we’re thrilled to be joined by Bryan Monroe.
A veteran of CNN, EBONY and Jet magazines, he is a former president of the National Association of Black Journalists and helped lead the the team of journalists at the Biloxi Sun Herald on their Hurricane Katrina coverage that led to the 2006 Pulitzer Prize Gold Medal for Public Service. In 2015, he joined the faculty at Temple University‘s Klein College of Media and Communications.
We’ll hear from him about his career, his views on newsroom trends and what’s next.
